CONTINENTAL CEMENT PRODUCTION PLANT
During 2007, MARCO officially completed the design, manufacture and installation of the crushing, screening material transfer, storage and blending of material for Continental Cement Company in Hannibal, MO.
The complete plant produces 1200 tph of aggregate for their new cement plant. The plant includes a Universal Engineering Maxcap, Simplicity 7×20 screen plant, conveyor system to a 800 foot tripper conveyor, and surge tunnel system for blending, aggregate, clay, clinker and high mag limestone. The plant has over 5,200 feet of MARCO Tubular Conveyors. It had a capital cost of $11,000,000 and plant officials estimate a savings from other bids at $4,000,000. The design of the plant started March 2006 and manufacturing of the equipment started in October 2006 and completed in August 2007.
OLIVENHAIN DAM RCC PROJECT, 2001
MARCO designed and built the material handling system Kiewit Pacific on the Olivenhain Dam Project. The system delivers 1600 tph (590 cu. m/ hr) of RCC for the construction of the dam. The plant includes steep transfer conveyors and swivel truck feeding system with hydraulic lifting. MARCO also provided structural supports and all the required chute work to complete the project. The construction site had 1700 feet of MARCO Tubular Truss to complete the project.
