MARCO was established in 1936 by E.F. Marsh Engineering. MARCO was the first conveyor manufacturer to design tubular-truss conveyor frames and has manufactured them continuously. MARCO designed and manufactured a wide range of standard conveyors, hoppers, and stackers, ranging from basic pit-portable machines to large elevating stackers capable of moving up to 4000 TPH of material.
MARCO also manufactured its conveyor components such as idlers, pulley and belt covers.
Over the years, market demand shifted from standardized equipment to customized systems. Customers requested one-stop-shop solutions and MARCO delivered. MARCO supplies not only conveying equipment but mineral processing equipment, steel supports, and field installation services.
As such, in 2005, MARCO became Continental Manufacturing Co., part of Continental Companies. MARCO together with its sister companies, Continental Equipment Co. (CEC) and Continental Constructing Co. (CCC) became a leading supplier of turn-key solutions for bulk material handling and mineral processing industries.
MARCO’s sales and engineering office is located in St. Louis, MO suburbs.
In 2002 MARCO relocated its manufacturing plant from Monet, MO to Mt. Vernon, MO. The brand new, 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility increased production capacity and efficiency.
